【植物形态】
百脉根，又名：牛角花(《植物名实图考》)，都草、黄金花、五叶草、鸟距草。 多年生草本，高这11～45厘米。茎丛生，被疏的长柔毛或后来无毛。小叶5枚，3小叶位于叶柄的顶端，2小叶常生于叶柄的基部；小叶纸质，卵形或倒卵形，长5～20毫米，宽3～12毫米，无毛或于两面主脉上有疏的长柔毛；小叶柄极短，长约1毫米，密被黄色长柔毛。花3～4朵排列成顶生的伞形花序；基部托着3枚叶状苞片；花长1～1.4厘米；萼黄绿色，近于膜质，内外均被有长硬毛，长约6毫米，萼齿5，披针形，与萼简等长或较长；花冠黄色，干时或成蓝绿色，旗瓣倒卵形，长9～13毫米，阔4～6毫米，具较长的爪，翼瓣较龙骨瓣稍长，龙骨瓣弯曲约成135°，雄蕊10，成2束；子房无柄，花柱长而弯曲，柱头顶生。荚果褐色。矩圆筒形，长21～27毫米，阔约3～4毫米，有多数种子。花期5～7月。果期8～9月。 分布湖南、湖北、四川、广西、云南、贵州、甘肃等地。 本植物的全草及花(地羊鹊)亦供药用，另详专条。
