风云三号气象卫星(FY-3)是我国的新一代太阳同步轨道气象卫星,其星-地数据传输体制采用了国际空间数据系统咨询委员会(CCSDS)推荐使用的先进在轨系统(AOS)规约和数据结构,采用R-S编码和卷积编码级联的编码方式,使用了L波段和X波段同时广播的方式。

| 风云1号气象卫星 中国研制并发射的第一颗圆形太阳同步轨道气象卫星。1988年9月7日用长征4号运载火箭发射。卫星本体为1.4米×1.4米×1.2米的六面体，重750千克，太阳能电池帆板展开后卫星总长8.6米，轨道高度901千米，倾角99°，运行周期102.86分钟。卫星上装有两台甚高分辨率扫描辐射仪，扫描探测范围为轨道两侧各约1500千米。共有5个探测通道，各通道的星下点分辨率为1.08千米，可探测昼夜的云图、地表图像、海洋水色图像、水体边界、海洋面温度、冰雪覆盖和植被生长，用以获取全球性气象信息，向全世界气象卫星地面站发送气象资料，并具有探测空中粒子成分的功能。 |
