适应症： 用于抗早孕、扩宫颈及中期引产等。与米非司酮合用，可使抗早孕完全流产率明显提高。
用量用法：
阴道给药： 1.用于抗早孕，每３小时１次１ｍｇ，将吉美前列腺素栓放入阴道后穹窿处，每日１～５次。如与米非司酮合用，先口服米非司酮每日１５０ｍｇ，连服４日，然后阴道给予吉美前列腺素栓１ｍｇ，共２次。 2.扩宫颈、于负压吸宫前３小时，于阴道后穹窿处放入１ｍｇ吉美前列腺素栓。
注意事项：
1.本品与手术相比，失血很少。主要有腹痛、腹泻、恶心、呕吐、潮红、头痛和发热等，但并不严重，一般不必处理。 2.应在密切监护下使用，不可作为催产药用于临产孕妇。 3.禁用于前置胎盘、宫外孕等操作有危险的病人及盆腔感染发热者，青光眼、眼压亢进、宫颈炎或阴道炎病人慎用。
