Amendment of calculation forms for laterally loaded pile based on similar principle of NL Method;

The NL method is a new nonlinear method for calculating the lateral bearing capacity of piles,summarizing several methods at home and abroad and basing on a great number of measured values,which is one of the major computational methods by the code for marine pile foundation.

Based on studying of former methods of lateral loaded pile groups,linked with present technical code of pile foundation an the NL method,a improved method of calculating lateral loaded pile groups,which is based on elasticity theory method,is proposed in the paper.
