性质描述: 无色油状液体。熔点6℃，沸点375℃，157-162℃（0.08kPa），相对密度1.2656（25/4℃），折光率1.5370（25℃），蒸气压（20℃）为5×10-6kPa。水中溶解度为24mg/L（25℃）。微溶于石油醚及煤油，可与多数有机溶剂混溶。有蒜臭。在碱性介质中迅速地水解；在中性或微性溶液中较为稳定；对紫外光与空气都不稳定。
生产方法: 由二乙基硫代磷酰氯在三甲胺催化下与对硝基酚钠合成则得。原料消耗定额：五硫化二磷370kg/t；无水乙醇330kg/t；对硝基酚钠330kg/t。
用途: 对硫磷为广谱性杀虫剂，具有触杀；胃毒；熏蒸作用，无内吸传导作用，但能渗透入植物体内。对昆虫作用很快，高温时杀虫作用显著增快，可用于防治棉花；苹果；柑桔；梨；桃等果树害虫及麦红蜘蛛等。
