性质:又称立式沉淀池。其池体平面为圆形或方形。池上部为沉淀区,下部为污泥区,两区之间为缓冲区。水从中心管自上而下进入池内,出口处设伞形挡板,使水在池中均匀分布,水流沿沉淀区的整个断面上升,澄清后的水由池四周溢出。悬浮物沉降后进入池底锥形污泥斗,污泥借静水压由排泥管排出。竖流式沉淀池的优点是占地面积小、排泥容易,常用于较小水量的沉淀处理;缺点是深度大、施工困难,造价高。
