性质:又称坡缕石黏土矿。一种以富镁硅酸盐黏土矿物为主要组分的非金属矿产。主要矿物为凹凸棒石,共生矿物有蒙脱石、高岭石、海泡石等。一般工业指标:脱色力>150,造浆率≥4m3/t(4%盐酸活化,视黏度15mPa·s)。多为露天开采。用手选、筛选或浮选法选矿。主要用作尿素和粒状肥料的凝固防止剂、橡胶助剂、农药载体、黏结剂、塑料填充剂和发泡灵脱色剂。广泛用于石油、军事、建材、医药、印刷、环保等部门。
