性质：在制备感光乳剂时，乳化结束后，在不继续向体系中加入新的反应物料的情况下，保持一定的温度，使乳剂小颗粒溶解，而后重新沉积在大颗粒表面上，使颗粒继续长大的过程。奥氏成熟过程包括溶解、扩散和沉积等步骤。由于此过程纯属于物理过程，故亦称物理成熟（physical ripening）。又由于此过程先于化学成熟，又称第一成熟（first ripening）。
