性质:又称α-苄基腈。无色油状液体。有芳香气味。密度1.0157g/cm3(20℃)。熔点-23.8℃。沸点234℃。折射率1.5211。不溶于水。溶于乙醇、乙醚和氯仿等有机溶剂。由苄基氯(氯化苄)和氰化钠在乙醇溶剂中以二甲胺为催化剂进行反应制得。主要用作农药、医药、染料和香料的中间体,用于制取辛硫磷、乙基稻丰散、苯乙酸、青霉素、苯巴比妥和咳必清等。
