性质：承插式管接头是在相连接两管的端部制成承插形式，在一管插入后，承插套的环状空间内先用纤维质材料填塞，再用油灰、湿水泥或浇以熔铅塞紧。这样的承插管接合后难以拆开，承插管端的型式有多种，如需要管路倾斜31/2°～7°，可采用法兰压橡胶圈密封的承插式、建筑上的上下水管可用管端有螺纹的承插式。承插式接头常用在铸铁管和陶瓷管等不常拆开、安装空间有限的地方。
