性质:有邻(o-)、间(m-)、对(p-)三种构造异构体。邻二溴苯无色或黄色液体,熔点4~6℃,沸点224℃,折射率1.6110,相对密度1.956;不溶于水,溶于乙醇、乙醚及丙酮等。间二溴苯,无色液体,熔点-7℃,沸点218~219℃,折射率1.6080,相对密度1.952;不溶于水,溶于乙醇、乙醚。对二溴苯,白色晶体,有二甲苯气味,熔点87~89℃,沸点219℃,相对密度1.841,不溶于水,溶于乙醇和苯。三者与卤烷可发生武尔茨-菲蒂希反应;与干燥乙醚及镁生成格利雅试剂;与干燥乙醚及锂生成苯基锂。三种异构体皆可由相应的溴代苯胺(或苯二胺)经桑德迈尔反应制得。对二溴苯又可由苯催化溴化制得。皆用于染料中间体及其他有机合成。
