性质:又称亚甲基环丙基丙氨酸,甲叉环丙基丙氨酸。从甲醇和水的混合物中析出的结晶为黄色片状。熔点280~284℃。旋光度+9.2°。如甲酯盐酸盐。若是从甲醇和乙醚的混合溶剂中析出的结晶为针状。熔点151~152℃。旋光度+36°(c=2.0cm)。降糖氨酸可从无患子科(Sapindaceae),阿开木属植物(Blighia sapida Kon.)中提取。具有降低血糖的功能。
