性质:又称涂金。在器物表面上或建筑物上涂一层金的表面饰金工艺。在战国初期就发明了这种工艺;现在得到进一步发展。鎏金层牢固、耐久、化学性质稳定,不会锈蚀,可长期保持华丽的光泽。鎏金工艺过程:杀金,制作金汞齐(又称金泥)、黄金与水银比例为1:7。抹金,把金泥涂抹在清洁的器物表面上,并用细漆刷把金泥刷均匀。开金,蒸发金泥中水银、捶打、擦拭和擦净。压光,把鎏金面的黄金压平,使金属与基面结合牢固,金属完整、均匀、孔隙率小和色泽光匀。用于建筑物、工艺品、佛像和文物表面装饰。
