性质:无色液体。熔点-96.2℃,沸点141.3℃,相对密度(20/4℃)0.8014,折射率(nD20)1.3973,闪点40℃。能与乙醇、乙醚混溶,不溶于水。遇明火能燃烧。有毒。

制备方法:由溴丁烷与氰化钠制得。将氰化钠加水在水浴上加热溶解,然后加入一定量的95%工业乙醇和溴丁烷回流25-30h,冷却至常温,滤去溴化钠,将滤液用高效分馏柱进行分馏。在78-85℃蒸出酒精,收集85-140℃馏分并用氯化铵处理该馏分,使其分为两层,取上层液体再次进行分馏,收集138-141℃馏分即为成品。原料消耗定额:溴丁烷2050kg/t、氰化钠900kg/t、酒精(95%)2050kg/t。

用途:用作有机合成原料,还用作萃取剂从苯和环已烷中萃取苯。
