性质:无色液体。沸点228-229℃,101-102℃(1.33kPa),相对密度1.399(15/4℃)。具强烈气味,有催泪性。

制备方法:由邻氯甲苯经光氯化而得:将邻氯甲苯、三氯化磷、氯化亚砜加热至150℃,在紫外光照射下通氯至理论量(每公斤邻氯甲苯约需通氯4.2kg)。然后减压蒸馏,收集101-103℃(1.33kPa)馏分即得成品。

用途:有机合成中间体,可制邻氯苯甲醛等。
