制备方法:采用乙炔水合法或乙醛在催化剂存在下聚合的方法可制取该品。
用途:四聚乙醛是一种神经毒物,对蛞蝓和蜗牛的毒杀途径和胃毒,其触杀作用比胃毒作用更强。用四聚乙醛取代剧霉的砷酸钙、巴黎绿等无机农药,在防治蜗牛和蛞蝓的危害方面起重要作用。
