| 虫蜡 insect wax 由昆虫所产生的蜡。有重要经济价值的主要有两种：①中国虫蜡，即虫白蜡，主要产于中国四川，是寄生在女贞或白蜡树上的白蜡虫所分泌的物质。白色或淡黄色固体；熔点80～85℃；其主要成分为二十六碳酸二十六碳醇酯CH3(CH2)24COO（CH2）25CH3，硬度大，性质稳定，不溶于水，易溶于苯、汽油等有机溶剂。可防潮、防锈。用于制造精密铸造蜡模、皮鞋油、地板蜡、复写纸、铜板纸等，也用于精密仪器的防锈和中药配方等。②印度虫蜡，是寄生于印度虫胶树上的昆虫所分泌的一种胶状物，此胶状物脱蜡时，虫蜡作为虫胶的副产品得到。粗品的熔点72～80℃，商品的熔点约80～85℃。虫蜡用于制造蜡烛和电器绝缘材料等。 |
