This article mainly introduces the 40-t converter end-point control operating practice in Converter Workshop I,the Steelworks.

The blowing mathematical model and development history of the end-point control technology of converter is briefly reduced and the end-point control methods,such as sublance measure technology,composition calculation method,gas phase process(mass-spectrometer measurement),etc.

BOF steelmaking endpoint control based on neural network;

Blown oxygen and added coolant are ca- culated in order to make steel-making endpoint control.

Taking endpoint temperature and endpoint carbon content as control target,oxygen-blown volume and added coolant were calculated,then endpoint control of convert steelmaking was realized.

Through adopting a series of measures such as molten iron pretreatment,converter final control,argon,calcium treatment,continuous casting with protection and avoiding nozzle clogging and so on,a proper way to make the Al killed cold heading steel was given.
