性质:用铬矿制成的Cr2O3的含量大于30%的耐火材料。为了提高砖的高温性能,一般在料中加入10%以上的镁砂。铬砖属于中性砖,高温下与酸性和碱性耐火材料的作用都很弱,它的荷重软化温度和抗热震性都低于镁铬砖。主要用于高温下酸性和碱性耐火材料的隔离层,也用于有色冶炼炉的炉衬,但不宜用于直接与铁水接触而气氛又变化频繁的地方。铬砖现在已很少生产。
