与声音、闪光、触击等刺激相应的头皮电位变化,也称诱发电位(evokedpotential,EP)。它比自发脑电位EEG,幅度要小得多,只有几微伏,频率通常在0.02Hz~40kHz。诱发电位ERP有多种,如听觉诱发电位AEP、视觉诱发电位VEP、体感诱发电位SEP和认知诱发电位CEP等。ERP的潜伏期小于80ms的外生分量主要与刺激的物理、化学参数有关;而潜伏期大于80ms的内生分量,则取决于心理过程。外生分量可用于寻找脑内产生器和感觉皮层定位及临床诊断与脑有关的神经科疾病;内生分量则可用于脑思维活动的研究。
