运用补益脾气的药物以消除湿邪的治法。健脾可以增强脾的运化功能，使水湿消除。健脾化湿法适用于脾虚水湿不化证，证见面色萎黄，神疲乏力，胃脘痞满，肢体困重，饮食不化，大便溏薄或泄泻，水肿，妇女带下，苔白厚腻，脉缓等。常用的健脾化湿药有白术、党参、茯苓、扁豆、砂仁、莲子肉、薏苡仁等，代表方剂有参苓白术散、完带汤。健脾化湿法常与芳香化湿、温脾、利水渗湿等治法配合使用。如脾虚湿阻，证见泄泻，腹胀呕吐，不思饮食，倦怠乏力，宜与芳香化湿法配合，方如钱氏七味白术散；脾阳不足而致水肿腹胀，宜与温脾法配合，方如实脾饮；脾虚湿盛，妇女带下清稀，宜与淡渗利湿法配合，方如完带汤。
