Based on the definition,classification,connotation,integral design and newly issued office furniture made by internationally famous furniture companies,furniture for small office and home office(SOHO)was system- atically studied to provide theoretical basis for the design and production in domestic market.

According to the structural features of portal frame on lower frame the design process of this kind of structure utilizing PKPM software in practice is introduced as well as practical method for integral design.
