北投温泉
北投温泉位於台北市北投区，北投原为平埔族中的凯达格兰族(ketagalan)部落居住的地方；後来清初时期汉人前来北投开垦，故改称为『pataauw』、八投、八头。北投温泉源头为林泉内里和湖山里，日据时期发现即在地热谷一带。北投温泉在日人的思乡情怀中，快速发展为政商酬酢游乐的温柔乡，撇开昔日风华，北投几乎与色情画上等号。
北投温泉其涌出的热泉澈绿如玉称青磺(酸性)，龙凤谷的白磺(硷性)又称星汤，两者均有治关节炎、筋肉酸痛、慢性皮肤炎等疗效。诚如台湾探险队揭示温泉养生疗法；动物受伤会找温泉疗伤作实证；掀起群众再度珍视宝贵的温泉矿源，结合spa与芳香疗法，让泡汤、温泉浴层次更上一层。
近年来在北投温泉饭店有心业者规划下，北投温泉区著名的温泉指的是地热谷温泉、行义路温泉、凤凰温泉、龙凤温泉、湖山里温泉等等地区。但最令游客留恋的区域大多集中环绕在北投温泉亲水公园周围的中山路、光明路、新民路、泉源路等地区。
北投温泉区附近的温泉旅馆规模较大、住宿也最为集中，自然人文资源也最丰富。行义路温泉区集休闲、健身、餐饮於一区域，颇有踏入东亚国度的感觉，彷彿东瀛风情再现，何不暂且放下，紧凑的行程或琐碎的俗务，让形体偷得几刻闲，卸下一切尘嚣解下束缚，沈浸在露天温泉池，融入蒸气腾腾的氤氲中，享受悠闲的泡汤之乐。
