    　　通过无线电路，将各个独立的移动通信电台组成一个能通过中心站相互进行新闻通信的系统。它是新闻通信专用网的一个有机组成部分，采用星形结构与新闻通信网连接，可实现无线和有线新闻通信的相互转接，满足新闻通信畅通、灵活和可靠的要求。它不受线路通达的限制，并能在移动中进行新闻通信。
　　
　　移动通信网主要由中心站、移动通信车台和人持手台组成。中心站主要包括超短波通信和交换设备以及电脑控制机。通过交换设备，移动通信网可与新闻有线通信网相互接通。移动通信网的覆盖范围是以中心站为圆心，半径为40～60公里，能进行话音、数据、文字传真和图片传真等新闻通信。
