绝缘油浸渍纤维纸而成的复合绝缘材料。纤维纸含有大量的孔隙，这降低了其击穿强度、耐潮性及老化性能。而油浸绝缘纸因油和有孔纸的互补作用而具有优异的介电性能。广泛用于电缆、电容器、变压器及套管等电工设备。油和纸均易吸附杂质、气体和水分，这些都会严重降低油浸纸的电绝缘性能。因此，油浸纸必须采用真空干燥浸渍工艺，并在密封条件下使用。油浸纸的脉冲击穿场强随纸密度的增大和纸张厚度的减薄而升高，故高压电缆内层高场强区和电容器中多采用高密度薄纸。油浸纸的交流击穿场强随压力的增大而上升，直流、脉冲击穿电场强度则与压力几乎无关。油浸纸的tgδ随油和纸性能的改良而下降。20世纪50年代出现的去离子水洗的低损耗纸，使油浸纸的性能进一步提高。之后，发展了多种合成纤维纸、混抄纸以及纤维纸和塑料薄膜相间制成的复合纸,进一步降低了浸渍纸的εb和tgδ，用于高压和超高压电缆和变压器。使用油浸复合纸必须注意它和绝缘油的相容性。
