性质: 常指杨氏模量和断裂强度分别大于100GPa和3GPa的有机聚合物。实现高强高模的途径之一是将柔性高分子进行超拉伸,使卷曲或折叠的分子链拉直,并沿拉伸方向取向成伸直链结晶;另一是合成刚性棒状液晶高分子,从根本上抑制分子链的卷曲或折叠,使分子链构象或分子链间的滑移变形大大减小,外力作用在分子链的共价键上,从而大幅度提高聚合物的强度和模量。这两种方法的代表分别有超拉伸的超高分子量聚乙烯纤维,和液晶芳香聚酰胺纤维,前者的强度和模量已达到4GPa和210GPa,后者已达到2.9GPa和110GPa。
