| 雨蛙科 Hylidae 无尾目的一科。肩带弧胸型，椎体前凹型。37属630余种，其中，雨蛙属种类最多约250种，分布最广。雨蛙适于树栖，指、趾末端多膨大成吸盘。在美洲种类最多；欧洲、亚洲、北非古北界种类少。在亚洲大部分热带地区没有雨蛙。中国的雨蛙仅有9种，大部分省(区)均有分布。中国的雨蛙体形较小。背面皮肤光滑，绿色(如华西雨蛙)；多生活在灌丛、芦苇、高秆作物上，或塘边、稻田及其附近的杂草上。白天匍匐在叶片上，黄昏或黎明频繁活动。以昆虫为食。常常1只雨蛙先叫几声，然后众蛙齐鸣，声音响亮，特别是雨后。蝌蚪尾鳍高而薄，上层鳍一般自体背中部开始；5月下旬有的即已完成变态；9～10月开始冬眠。中南美的雨蛙形态、生态和产卵习性多样化。 |
