Apolipoprotein E was cloned from mouse Mus musculus RNA by RT-PCR, which has 962 base pairs, contains an open reading frame (ORF) from 1 to 951 bp which encodes 317 putative amino acids, and it has four restriction enzyme sites: Ava Ⅰ (90bp), Pst Ⅰ (349bp, 523bp, 814bp).
以小鼠RNA为模板RT-PCR扩增获得长962bp的脱脂载脂蛋白E基因,其开放阅读框长度为951bp(1-951bp),编码317个氨基酸。

性质:血浆脂蛋白的蛋白质组分称为载脂蛋白。主要在肝(部分在小肠)合成,按ABC系统命名,各类又可细分几个亚类,以罗马数字表示(见附表)。载脂蛋白是构成血浆脂蛋白的重要组分,赋予脂类以可溶的形式,而且在血浆脂蛋白代谢中起重要作用:(1)促进脂类运输;(2)调节酶活性;(3)引导血浆脂蛋白同细胞表面受体结合。是功能上极其活跃的一组血浆蛋白质。
