In this work, using the reasoning method of the artificial intelligence and beginning with the expansion of the portion symptom set, fault diagnosis principle based on the portion symptom set is studied, the detailed algorithm about the sequential fault diagnosis is described, and the diagnosis model on the portion symptom set is built.

The information of capacitive equipment fault are widely collected,and various detected data and fault symptoms are summarized to form a comprehensive fault set and symptom set.

Based upon the damage features of the lining concrete of a culvert in Tong-Huang highway after conflagration,it is concluded that the conflagration had lasted about nine hours and its highest temperature exceeded(1 000℃).
