红豆草 Onobrychis viciaefolia 豆科驴豆属多年生草本。又称驴喜豆、驴豆。牧草和绿肥兼用作物。寿命一般3~7年,适于干旱地区栽培。本属约130余种,大多野生。栽培最多的为普通红豆草。此外还有高加索红豆草。前者原产欧洲,分布于欧洲和非洲北部以及亚洲温暖地区;后者原产前苏联,中国新疆天山北坡有野生种。20世纪50年代引进中国的普通红豆草,主要在西北和华北地区种植。其根系发达,主根入土3~4米。茎高80~110厘米,多分枝,密被灰白色短茸毛。奇数羽状复叶。总状花序穗状。荚果扁平,黄褐色。喜干燥凉爽气候,有一定的耐寒性,耐旱力强,且耐瘠,但不耐水淹。能在砂质石灰性土壤和砂砾土生长,适于pH6.0~7.5范围。温暖地区以秋播为主,寒冷地区可春播或夏播。可青饲、青贮、调制干草或放牧,是家畜喜食的优质饲草。家畜食后不易发生膨胀病,为其他豆科牧草所不及。此外,红豆草蜜腺发达,开花期长,也是一种蜜源植物。 |
