Using the proton exchanged MgO∶LiNbO 3 planar optical waveguides,the characters of Cerenkov second harmonic generation of infrared laser diodes were studied,the direct frequency doubling of 956nm and 804nm laser diodes were realized and 478nm blue and 402nm violet light are generated.
