性质:是一种整体催化剂,其形状、大小可据用途和反应器而定。具有许多平行的贯通式孔道,孔道可为圆形、方形、三角形、六角形、波纹形等。孔间壁厚可达0.1毫米,孔密度可达160孔 每平方厘米,通常分别为0.3毫米和30孔每平方厘米。与一般粒状催化剂相比,其堆积状态不因震动而变化。压降低、扩散阻力小,升温快,起燃容易。制备材质应耐高温、热膨胀系数低,通常采用陶瓷、氧化铝以及碳化硅、氧化锆等,也可使用金属薄片。催化剂的活性组分视情况可直接加到蜂窝体制备材料中,或载在已制好的蜂窝体上。用于硝酸生产尾气处理,尤其是用于汽车尾气处理。
