性质:又称电池电压。指电池中二电极金属端的电位降。可分两种情况说明:(1)无电流通过时的电池电势即开路电压,对于可逆电池即其可逆电势,又称电动势(Ep)。(2)在有电流通过时,因二电极都发生极化,电解液中又产生欧姆电位降,故对于自发电池,电池电势|E|<|EP|;对于电解电池,电池电势|E|>|EP|。
