用楔将被联接件联成一体的可拆联接（见图），主要用于传递轴向力，也可传递扭矩。楔联接分为松联接和紧联接两种。松楔无斜度，松配在楔孔中,只能传递单向的轴向力。紧楔一边或两边有斜度,装配时将楔打紧，各联接件间有装配应力存在，能互相挤紧成为一体，因而能传递反复作用的轴向力。紧楔斜度必须保证楔能自锁于楔孔中。楔联接已逐渐被螺纹联接或其他联接所代替。
