性质:又称钾钠水玻璃(potassium sodium water glass)。略带黄或黄绿色的黏稠液体。具有硅酸钾和硅酸钠共有的性质。在应用上弥补了单独使用一种时性能的不足。如一定组成的硅酸钾钠其抗水能力优于其单独的任何一种。由碳酸钾、碳酸钠和硅砂按一定比例混合熔融反应,经冷却,溶解,澄清,浓缩制得。也可采用由氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾和硅砂进行压热反应,经浓缩制得。也可采用白炭黑、苛性钾、硅酸钠为原料来制取。主要用作黏结剂,洗涤剂,除油污助剂等。
