Effect of polished ceramic tiles flotsam and phosphorus gypsum on calcinations and petrographic configurations of Portland cement clinker;

Based on the polished waste of building ceramics as main raw materials, the porous ceramic filter materials in the system of MgO-SiO2-Al2O3 have been prepared through the orthogonal test employed to optimize the formula and the process conditions.

From hydration product,combined water amount,microstructure and product strength,reaction characteristics of ceramic polishing waste(CPW)-lime system was studied at room temperature curing and autoclaved curing by contrast with fly ash(FA)-lime system that is used widely in industry.

Permeable tile with high added value was fabricated in low cost with breakage ceramics and ceramic waste,and addition percent of breakage ceramics and ceramic waste in the tiles was up to 75%.

The increasing ceramic waste not only affected city environment but also limited the development of economyand ceramic industries.

The porous ceramics, of which main crystals is the quartz and mullite, has been developed by using ceramic polished waste as the main raw material in this paper.
