性质:无色片状结晶。熔点91.5-92℃(89.5-90℃),沸点310℃,闪点143℃,相对密度0.9327(25/4℃)。溶于醇、醚、二硫化碳、苯、四氯化碳和丙酮,微溶于乙酸,不溶于水。有特殊气味。

制备方法:由对溴苯胺经下述反应而得。将水、对溴苯胺和浓盐酸一起冷却,保持在0-5℃慢慢加入亚硝酸钠水溶液,进行重氮化至淀粉碘化钾试纸呈蓝色,滤出澄清的重氮液。将苯加入重氮液,在5-10℃搅拌半小时,同时慢慢滴加氢氧化钠溶液,加完后继续搅拌3h,再在室温下搅拌45h。分出苯层,用水洗涤,蒸出苯后进行减压蒸馏,收集170-175℃(1.06kPa)馏分,用乙醇重结晶,得熔点90℃的成品。

用途:有机合成中间体。
