| 抗毒素 antitoxin 细菌毒素(通常指外毒素)的对应抗体或含有这种抗体的免疫血清。它能中和相对应的外毒素的毒性作用。机体经产生外毒素而致病的病原菌,如白喉、破伤风、气性坏疽等菌感染,即能产生抗毒素。外毒素经甲醛处理后,可丧失毒性而保持抗原性,成为类毒素。在医疗实践中,应用类毒素进行免疫预防接种,使机体产生相应的抗毒素,可以预防疾病。在免疫治疗中,常用细菌的外毒素、类毒素或其他毒物(如蛇毒等)对马进行免疫注射,使马产生抗毒素,然后取其血清,经浓缩提纯制成抗毒素,这不仅可以提高效价,而且可以减轻副作用。这种动物来源的抗毒素血清,对人体具有两重性:一方面对病人提供了特异性抗毒素抗体,可中和体内相应的外毒素,起到防治的作用;另一方面是具有抗原性的异种蛋白,能刺激人体产生抗马血清蛋白的抗体,以后再次接受马的免疫血清时,可能发生超敏反应。已用胃蛋白水解酶水解提纯的IgG分子,保留具有抗体活性的F(ab)2段,尽可能除去特异性抗原决定簇,既能大大提高效价,也可以减少发生超敏反应的机会。 |
