性质: 即代谢类似物或代谢拮抗物。指在生物化学反应中,与反应底物(即代谢物)具有类似结构的化合物。当底物与底物类似物同时存在时,会对相应的酶发生竞争,因此,较高浓度的底物类似物起着代谢抑制剂的作用。例如磺胺与对氨基苯甲酸,乙硫氨酸与甲硫氨酸,2,6-二氨基嘌呤与腺嘌呤等,都是底物类似物与反应底物间的关系。
