结构试验内容之一,借以研究和验证飞行器结构或构件的疲劳与断裂性能。零、构件小型疲劳试验可以借助通用的疲劳试验机和裂纹检测设备进行。大型全尺寸部件或全机疲劳试验的技术复杂,需要有多点协调加载装置。机身气密座舱的加压可以在大型水槽中进行,也可以在试验大厅中对气密座舱充压加载,这时须在座舱内填充轻质材料(如硬泡沫塑料块、乒乓球)以减少增压气体容积,节省加压能量和减少结构断裂时的爆破能量。全尺寸结构疲劳试验通常按简化的试验载荷谱加载,主要是减少载荷级数并截去过低和过高的载荷。整个试验过程包括耐久性试验和损伤容限试验。前者的目的是发现在预定使用寿命内结构可能发生疲劳破坏的部位和确定各危险部位的疲劳寿命;后者的目的在于测定裂纹扩展的速率和结构残余强度,从而为确定飞机的使用寿命和制定检查维护条例提供依据。在试验中须对试件进行连续的观测并定期进行检测。
