| 角岩 hormfels 一种变质岩。又称角页岩。由中高温热接触变质作用形成。具细粒状变晶结构和块状构造。原岩主要为粘土岩、粉砂岩、火成岩和各种火山碎屑岩。变质后全部重结晶，一般不具有变余结构。主要由长石、云母、角闪石、石英、辉石等组成，还含水量有矽线石、堇青石、红柱石、石榴子石等。主要类型有云母角岩、长英质角岩、钙硅角岩、基性角岩 、镁质角岩等。角岩一词的应用范围沿不完全一致。通常将全部重结晶并具变晶结构、块状构造的热接触变质岩石称为角岩，也有人把所有具块状构造的热接触变质岩（包括未全部重结晶的）均称作角岩。
