性质:是一类肿瘤抑制基因的总称。第一个分离到的抑癌基因是Rb基因(retinoblastoma gene)或称视网膜母细胞瘤基因。现已证明:结肠癌等多种癌症也检出Rb基因的缺陷。已被证实的抑癌基因有10多种,都是通过缺失或失活而致细胞恶性转化的一类基因。这类基因的作用机制涉及基因表达调控、细胞分裂、分化过程,也可能与生长因子、激酶、信息在胞内的传递密切相关。
