glutathione reductase
催化氧化型谷胱甘肽(GSSG）与NAPH+还原为还原型谷胱甘肽(GSH）的酶。GSH的重要生理功能在于能还原体内生成的过氧化氢(H2O2）。在红细胞中谷胱甘肽几乎完全以GSH形式存在(占体内总量的99.8%）。若GSH减少，H2O2就会氧化血红蛋白或膜蛋白上的SH基，生成变性珠蛋白或导致溶血。
