安徽省重要水陆中转港。位于长江左岸，裕溪河入江处。地当老淮南铁路终点。港区地面平坦，江面宽阔，水陆运输条件较优。 裕溪口港是1958年建成的中国第1座机械化内河转运港，有码头9座。其中有客运（区间）码头1座；泊位各为1000吨级的货运码头5座，主要装卸化肥、矿石、钢材、木材、水泥等；煤炭专用码头3座，可供1000～3000吨级驳船同时装煤，为全国大型内河煤码头之一，主要承担淮北、淮南煤矿到华东的煤炭运输中转任务。裕溪口原属和县地，1958年后划归芜湖市。现为芜湖港作业区之一。
