 (术语)法性与无明,如冰与水,无明之冰即诸性之水也。但非谓吾人之心性,本来为冰,法性之水,后为无明之冰,仅谓无始无明之体即为本觉之法性而已。玄义五曰:“若有无明烦恼性相,即是智慧观照性相。(中略)如冰是水,如水是冰。”止观辅行六曰:“为迷冰者指水为冰,为迷水者指冰为水,如迷法性即指无明,如迷无明即指法性。若失此意,俱迷二法。故知世人非但不识即无明之法性,亦乃不识即法性之无明。”(参见:无始无明)
