| 正史 以帝王传记为纲领的中国史书。始见于南朝梁阮孝绪 《正史削繁》。《隋书·经籍志》将《史记》、《汉书》等 以帝王传记为纲的纪传体史书列为正史，居史部书之首位。《明史·艺文志》又以纪传、编年二体，并称正史。清乾隆年间的《四库全书》，确定《史记》至《明史》的24部正统的纪传体史书为正史（见二十四史），并确定凡不经皇帝批准的不得列入。1921年，北洋军阀政府又增《新元史》，合称二十五史。 |
