| 原始派艺术 Primitive 20世纪产生于法国的画派 。 又称稚拙派 。此派画家受柏格森“直觉论”的影响，将处于早期发展阶段的各族人民的复杂的艺术视为样板，在创作中极力主张返回原始艺术的风格中去，追求原始艺术的那种自然天成的表现形式，努力表达直接的朴素的印象。他们无视古典艺术的传统和一切造型技术的训练，同时又不迷恋于新的绘画语言的探索，而认为那些没有基础和三维空间的野人绘画最能体现人类本性，表现人的纯真无邪和朴素无华的本质。在其代表画家H.卢梭的影响下，后来又出现了被称为“新原始主义”的一大批追随者，代表人物有L.维万、A.博尚、C.邦布瓦等 。后来美术史家为避免名称的混乱，根据原始派艺术创作的特点，提出na  ve art(稚拙艺术)一词，用以统辖原始派艺术。从20世纪初开始，原始派艺术愈来愈受到现代主义美术家们的重视，直到40年代仍余音不绝。
