长篇小说。俄国屠格涅夫作于1855年。外省一女地主家接待了一位贵族青年罗亭，他的举止谈吐令主人的女儿娜达丽亚倾心。她不顾母亲反对要随他出走，但罗亭却犹豫退缩。几年后，他仍一事无成。小说1860年新版本的结局则是罗亭在1848年的巴黎巷战中阵亡。
