This paper aims to analyze stylistic features of textbook English in college.
笔者选中的这个点为外语教学与研究出版社出版的《高级英语》,之所以做这样的选择,主要基于以下两点考虑:第一,作为大学课本英语的最高级形式,《高级英语》的文体分析结果必定包含大学课本英语可能具有的文体特征的所有最终表现形式,所以选择《高级英语》可以最大可能地保证研究的全面性;第二,《高级英语》分为上下两册,它本身也不完全是一个纯粹的文体点,而是一个小规模的连续体文体,这种特殊性使得笔者可以在进行最终推断工作之前先进行小规模推断,从而将可能出现在最终推断过程中的误差减少到最小。
