【抗辩权】消费者暂时停止向信用卡公司偿还用信用卡所购物品款项的权利。 美国的“公正结帐法”(FairC喇it BillingAct)中规定，消费者在使用信用卡购买商品后，发现商品有缺点，要求该特约商号退换而得不到答复时，可以暂时停止向信用卡公司偿还代付的欠款。 日本在70年代后期，由于分期付款合约纠纷增多，在社会舆论的要求下，在1984年修改“分期付款销售法”中也规定，“消费者的抗辩权可以扩大到信用卡公司”，以保护消费者的利益。这也叫“连续抗辩权”(伪朋ec-tion of the Defenee凡ght)。
